We know that the coming weeks are a busy time for students and parents, so we’ve compiled the following to make you all aware of some key dates, concerts and events over the summer term.

27^th April – Summer term starts

4^th  May – lunchtime concert for students

11^th May – 11.30am in Saffron Hall. Junior and intermediate ensembles concert.

Ensembles performing are as follows:

• Mini and junior choir
• Wind band and wind ensemble
• Prelude and intermediate strings
• Percussion
• Guitars 

18^th May – Joe Broughton Folk music workshop – timetable collapse for selected students

25^th May and 1^st June – Summer half term break.

8^th June – lunchtime concert for students and SCYM Jazz Sextet perform at Whittlesford Church.

15^th June – lunchtime concert for students

22^nd June – Guildhall School Recorder Ensemble – concert at 9.30am in Saffron Hall.

29^th June – lunchtime concert for students

Friday 5th July – SCYM Jazz Sextet perform at SWCHS Hampers & Champers event.

6^th July – Last day of term and SCYM Cello Ensemble perform at Birmingham Conservatoire for Music for Youth Festival.
