We’re really looking forward to the the next Guildhall School ensemble to visit SCYM. This time its a brass ten piece who will work side by side with SCYM students. They will then perform for students and parents in the 12,15 lunchtime concert on 25th February.
This Saturday’s 12.15 lunchtime concert is for the keyboard and percussion soloists and ensembles.

I’m pleased to announce that four of our tutors have been offered places on the Guildhall School Postgraduate Certificate in Performance Teaching. Congratulations to Daniella Ganeva, Amy Morrow, James Brady and Martyn Grisdale. It’s a part time course so all four will continue to teach at SCYM in 2016/17.
Applications for the autumn term should be submitted by August 31st please, to allow for timetable planning. Please note that students may apply throughout the year, but may only join at the start of autumn, spring and summer term.
