Saffron Centre for Young Musicians

We are a specialist Saturday school offering high quality musical training to students aged 4 to 18. The SCYM is a partnership between Greater Essex Music Hub, Saffron Music Trust, and Saffron Walden County High School. It provides outstanding opportunities for students with a special interest in music, from absolute beginner to diploma standard. Children come together every week to play in a wide range of ensembles and choirs, led by professional tutors. It is held in the Music Department at Saffron Walden County High School. The special partnership that makes up the SCYM gives students access to visiting artists from Saffron Hall.
